Job summary

Main Car Dealership in the Guildford area is recruiting a Parts Supervisor. You will oversee the Parts Department, drive turnover, and maintain margins while leading a team with a focus on customer service and efficiency.

The role requires Kerridge experience, a track record in a main dealer, and the ability to motivate staff. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00–18:00 with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00–13:00, and a £35,000 base salary plus £6,000 bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a Parts Department in a main dealer environment.
• Experience with Kerridge software.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team in a busy parts department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and all aspects of the Parts Department.
• Implement and review plans to increase parts turnover while maintaining profit margins.
• Provide accurate weekly forecasts on performance.
• Maintain routine processes (PPI, N/STK reports, Parts Back Order status, VOR mix report).

Job Role – Parts Supervisor

Salary – £35,000 basic plus £6,000 bonus

Hours, Mon – Fri 8.00 – 6.00 & 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00 – 1.00

Parts Supervisor role::

• To oversee the daily operations and all aspects of the Parts Department
• To implement and review plans to increase parts turnover, whilst maintaining agreed profit margins
• To provide accurate weekly forecasts on performance
• To have a customer orientated approach to running the Parts department
• To ensure routine processes are maintained (PPI, N/STK reports, Parts Back Order status, VOR mix report)

Additional Requirements:

• To have main Dealership experience in a similar role
• Experience with Kerridge
• To be able to motivate and lead by example
