Trade Parts Sales Executive / Business Development Executive – Automotive Parts Industry

We are currently working with an automotive client based in South Reading who is seeking to recruit a Parts Sales Executive.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Location: Near Eversley (Between Reading and Basingstoke)

Job Summary & Responsibilities

Our client is a successful automotive company looking to recruit a Parts Sales Executive for their trade parts department.

Trade Parts Development Executive responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and deliver a planned sales presentation to maximize results from available sales opportunities, including customer greeting, qualifying, handling objections, product presentation, demonstrations, and effective closing.
  2. Maintain and develop the customer database.
  3. Create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business.
  4. Contribute to achieving maximum customer retention through effective representation.
  5. Develop and submit weekly and monthly journey plans.
  6. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, prices, and key competitors.
  7. Produce reports on all sales activities, including follow-up, prospecting, sales presentations, and new clients, to ensure accurate sales forecasts.
  8. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all reports and paperwork.
  9. Assist in developing strategies to increase business in line with the Business/Growth plan.
About you:

Ideally some experience in Business Development.

Any experience within the Automotive industry is desirable but not essential.
