Job summary

Otis Limited in Leicester seeks a Customer Care Champion within the Parts team, working 8am-4pm, to act as the interface between engineers and suppliers. The role centers on sourcing, ordering, and managing parts to support call backs and maintenance, ensuring cost control and timely delivery.

Experience in procurement or supply chain, strong administration, and proficiency with ERP/CRM systems are essential. Training and career progression opportunities are available within Otis.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts ordering, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities effectively.
• Proficient with ERP/order systems and MS Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process parts and materials orders in line with requirements and policies.
• Source parts from approved suppliers ensuring value, quality and delivery times.
• Raise purchase orders and track orders to delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, availability, lead times and delivery issues.
• Resolve order discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, or invoicing queries.
• Maintain procurement records within ERP / ordering systems.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and procurement regulations.
