Group 1 Automotive is recruiting a Parts Driver for Mercedes-Benz Coventry. In the Retail Centre, you’ll ensure efficient collection and delivery of parts orders, providing excellent face-to-face service to customers.

You’ll collaborate with the Trade Hub team across sites and brands, bringing strong communication, organisation and reliability. We offer benefits, generous annual leave, discounts and a supportive environment to grow your career.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Demonstrated teamwork and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient collection and delivery of parts orders for the Trade Hub.
• Use a mobile phone app based POD system.
• Check parts against paperwork to identify you are delivering the whole and correct order.
• Take responsibility for the safe driving of company vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Liaise with customers to gain additional information as required.
• Ensure all dealings with customers are handled courteously.
• Ensure delivery vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Working in our parts department as a Trade PartsDriver you will be a key part of the Retail Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills to deal with customers face to face, providing an outstanding customer service to all customers.
