Job summary

Hawk Hiring is recruiting a Parts Advisor in Tonbridge to join a premier automotive group. You will support workshop technicians, customers and suppliers, handling parts availability and sales opportunities within the parts department.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good computer literacy and confidence using internal systems for stock management and invoicing.
• Previous parts or automotive experience is desirable.
• Full UK manual driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Customer & Workshop Support: Serve as the trusted link for workshop technicians, retail customers, and suppliers, advising on parts and availability.
• Order Processing & Inventory: Process parts orders accurately using internal stock management systems and ensure documentation and invoicing are correct.
• Stock Optimization: Monitor inventory with the Parts Leader to keep key items available.
• Commercial Growth: Support sales by identifying upsell opportunities and promoting vehicle accessories.
• Operations & Compliance: Maintain an organized, compliant working environment across the parts department.

What you will be doing:

• Customer & Workshop Support: Serve as the trusted link and expert contact for internal workshop technicians, retail customers, and suppliers, providing expert advice on parts, products, and availability.
• Order Processing & Inventory: Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using internal stock management systems, ensuring all documentation and invoicing are completed correctly.
• Stock Optimization: Monitor inventory and stock levels in close collaboration with your Parts Leader to ensure key items are always readily available.
• Commercial Growth: Support the sales process by identifying upsell opportunities and promoting relevant vehicle accessories and performance products.
• Operations & Compliance: Maintain an organized, secure, and compliant working environment across the parts department while collaborating effectively across all dealership teams.

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong customer service background with a proactive, positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Good computer literacy and confidence using internal systems for stock management and invoicing.
• Previous parts or automotive experience is desirable, but candidates with strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Full UK manual driving licence is desirable (not essential).

Commutable Locations: This role is based in Tonbridge, making it an easy commute from Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Maidstone, and Paddock Wood.
