Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a Parts Advisor for a busy Maidstone-based main dealer network. You will apply your parts knowledge to assist workshop operations and external trade customers, with a basic salary of £31,000 plus OTE up to £36,000.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (08:00–12:30). You will benefit from manufacturer training pathways, career progression, and a proactive, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on experience in an automotive parts department, dealership counter, or motor factor environment.
• Strong communication skills and solid IT/cataloguing software literacy.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Handling trade parts enquiries, counter sales, and providing accurate product advice to external trade customers.
• Sourcing, picking, and allocating parts for workshop technicians.
• Managing inventory levels, processing deliveries, and maintaining stock records.
• Working with workshop and external trade clients to ensure order fulfillment.

What you will be doing:

• Handling trade parts enquiries, counter sales, and providing accurate product advice to external trade customers.
• Sourcing, picking, and allocating parts efficiently for workshop technicians to support smooth job completions.
• Managing inventory levels, processing incoming deliveries, and maintaining clean, accurate stock cataloguing records.
• Working closely with both the internal workshop team and external trade clients to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in an automotive parts department, dealership counter, or motor factor environment.
• Strong communication skills and solid IT/cataloguing software literacy.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
