Job summary

Consult2Recruit is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor for our client in Port Talbot. The role involves identifying and supplying parts for construction and heavy plant machinery, assisting customers in person, and driving stock accuracy and sales.

You will work with electronic catalogues and stock systems, manage backorders, and support colleagues across the business to deliver excellent service. A strong background in plant, construction, or automotive parts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Parts Advisor or similar role.
• Background in plant/construction or vehicle parts is preferred.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
• Organised with ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and supply correct parts for construction and heavy plant machinery.
• Respond to customers by phone, email, and in-person with high service levels.
• Provide accurate parts advice based on customer requirements.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using stock systems.
• Maintain stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
• Coordinate with engineers/technicians to ensure parts availability.
