Consult2Recruit is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor based in Blandford Forum. The role focuses on parts identification, customer service, stock management and sales, with opportunities to expand product knowledge and maximise earnings.

The position entails working Monday to Friday day shift in the construction and heavy plant machinery sector, offering a company pension, training and ongoing development, and uncapped commission potential.

Qualifications

• Experienced within a Parts Advisor, Parts Counter, Parts Sales or similar role.
• Ideally experienced in plant, construction, agricultural, automotive or commercial vehicle parts.
• Confident identifying machinery parts and components.
• Comfortable using electronic parts catalogues and computerised stock systems.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Accurate and attentive to detail.
• Commercially aware with an interest in developing parts sales.
• A reliable team player with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and supply the correct parts and accessories for construction and heavy plant machinery.
• Deal with customers by phone, email and face-to-face, providing a high level of service.
• Identify customer requirements and provide accurate parts advice.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use electronic parts catalogues and stock management systems.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks.
• Liaise with engineers and technicians to ensure parts are available when required.
• Manage backorders, returns, warranty queries and supplier enquiries.
• Identify opportunities to increase parts and accessory sales.
• Provide accurate pricing and availability information.
• Maintain a well-organised and professional parts department.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure excellent customer service.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join an established organisation within the construction and heavy plant machinery sector.

About You
