Job summary

Consult2Recruit is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor in Exeter to join a leading organisation in construction and heavy plant machinery. The role covers parts identification, customer service, stock management and sales, with opportunities to develop product knowledge and earnings.

You should have prior Parts Advisor experience or similar, with familiarity in plant or automotive parts. Monday–Friday day shifts, and a performance bonus plus uncapped commissions are offered, along with career

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role.
• Experience with plant, construction, agricultural, automotive or commercial vehicle parts is ideal.
• Familiar with electronic parts catalogues and stock systems.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and supply correct parts for construction and heavy plant machinery.
• Assist customers by phone, email and in person with high-quality service.
• Identify requirements and provide accurate parts advice.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use electronic catalogs and stock management systems.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure parts availability.
• Manage backorders, returns, warranty queries and supplier enquiries.
• Identify opportunities to increase parts and accessory sales.
• Provide pricing and availability information.
• Maintain a well-organised and professional parts department.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure excellent service.
