Job description

Our client is a main car dealership looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team.

Location: Watford

Salary: £25,000

Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 5.30pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm

Parts Advisor Role:

1. Handle sales of parts to the public and trade by telephone, fax, and in person at the Retail/Trade Counter, operating departmental procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Supply parts as requested to the Service Department.
3. Raise and maintain accurate records as per company procedures.
4. Inspect parts in front of customers as per company procedures.
5. Inspect incoming goods against documentation, reporting discrepancies.
6. Place incoming stock in correct binning locations.
7. Pick customer orders and place them in the correct area, such as delivery or inter-branch transfers, with relevant documentation.
8. Report and record any stock discrepancies or damage.
9. Operate computers and machinery according to company procedures and manufacturers’ instructions.
10. Support and implement the company's Quality System and follow procedures manuals.
11. Maintain cleanliness of the customer area and warehouse.
12. Maintain a neat and tidy personal appearance.
13. Observe all health, safety, and fire regulations.
