Job summary

Vertu Mercedes Benz of Reading is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team. You will deal with trade parts enquiries and orders by phone and online, ensuring accurate parts identification and prompt service.

We offer a basic salary of £31,824 plus bonus (OTE £34,223), 42.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm, with Saturdays paid as overtime on a rota. Onsite training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Ideally previous Parts Advisor experience in the motor industry.
• Great technical knowledge of cars is a plus.
• Ambitious with a drive to grow parts sales.

Responsibilities

• Deal with incoming trade parts enquiries and orders by telephone and online.
• Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
• Utilise promotions and upsell opportunities to grow sales.
• Maintain knowledge through training and reading bulletins, recalls, etc.

We are offering a basic salary of £31,824 plus bonus (OTE £34,223)company benefits and overtime opportunities. This is a full time permanent role across 42.5 hours per week,working Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm with Saturdays paid as overtime on a rota.

We have a great team on site who are committed to providing a fantastic customer experience and are able to offer a professional service to trade customers. Your daily duties will include dealing with incoming trade parts enquires and orders via telephone and online platforms.

You will be able to accurately identify parts to meet the customer sales requirements, Utilising all product promotions effectively to achieve specific targets set, Identifying and maximising all upsell opportunities thereby growing overall sales figures, be able to maintain your own knowledge levels on new or updated parts through the completion of appropriate training courses and reading information from bulletins, catalogues, parts updates, special offers, recalls etc.

Ideally for this role you will have Parts Advisor experience from within the Motor industry or a great technical/mechanical knowledge of cars. You will need to be ambitious and have a determination to seek out new sales opportunities within our customer database and exceed parts sales objectives on a daily basis.
