Job summary

Vertu Mercedes Benz of Slough is recruiting an Apprentice Parts Advisor to join the Aftersales team. You will be the first point of contact with customers, face-to-face or over the telephone, while training to become a fully qualified Parts Advisor.

The daily duties include managing parts supply, stock inventory, and supporting the workshop and Aftersales Manager. This apprenticeship pays £8.00 per hour and offers clear development within a major motor retailer.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring GCSEs (Maths, English, one other).
• Willingness to learn and develop in motor retail Aftersales.
• A proactive and professional approach to customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts supply and processing for in and out items.
• Mentor and coach colleagues where appropriate.
• Oversee parts stock inventory and store organisation.
• Support the on-site workshop with parts flow.
• Assist Aftersales Manager and represent the company professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service face-to-face and over the phone.

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Parts Advisor to join the team at Vertu Mercedes Benz of Slough!

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual looking to start a career in the Motor Industry. Training to become a full qualified 'Parts Advisor', you will be an integral member of the Aftersales team. You will be the first point of contact with many of our customers, either face to face or over the telephone. This role offers an apprentice rate of £8.00 per hour.

The daily duties for a Parts Apprentice includes the following:

• Managing all aspects of parts supply, in and out.


• Helping coach and motivate others.


• Oversee the parts stock inventory.


• Drive supply through the onsite workshop.


• Proactively support the Aftersales Manager.


• Represent the company in a highly professional manner

It is essential that you hold Entry Qualifications GCSE grades 4 - 9 (or equivalent A*- C) in:

• Mathematics


• English Language


• One other
