Job summary

Thurlow Nunn in Norwich is seeking a confident Parts Advisor to join our Cromer Road branch. You will select parts from the manufacturer catalogs and issue these parts to Technicians, while also assisting customers with their parts needs.

The role requires excellent customer service, clear communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience with Parts Catalogues is helpful, but full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience of working in Parts within the motor trade is preferable.
• Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Select parts from manufacturer catalogs and issue to Technicians.
• Assist customers in-branch with Parts needs.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join the team at our Cromer Road, Norwich branch. You will be selecting parts from the manufacturer’s Electronic Parts Catalogues and issuing these parts to the Technicians within the Workshop to fulfil the requirements of the service or repair. You will also serve customers that come into the branch for any Parts needs.

You will need to be confident and accurate and be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure. Although previous experience with Parts Catalogues and working in a busy workshop environment is preferable, full training and support will be provided.

We are looking for the following…

• Experience providing exceptional customer service
• Previous experience of working in Parts within the motor trade
• Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone
• Passion and drive for exceeding targets
• Competence in Microsoft packages

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm, alternate Saturday 8.00am - 1.00pm
