Job summary

Lloyd BMW/MINI in Newcastle seeks a Parts Advisor to join the Parts department. You will serve customers, identify and warehouse stock, and support stock control while maintaining department standards.

This role is based in Newcastle with a 42-hour week, Monday to Friday plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, at a salary of £27,000 plus bonus. The ideal candidate has motor industry Parts experience, is IT literate, numerate, and capable of building trade relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• IT literate with basic inventory systems.
• Good numeracy and product code knowledge.
• Experience building trade business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve and issue stock to internal and external customers.
• Identify and warehouse incoming stock; flag low stock to management.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in Stores and Retail Parts areas.
• Promote promotions and practices from Parts Management to customers.
• Participate in annual stock checks.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aParts Advisorto join the Parts department at ourLloyd BMW/MINIsitebased inNewcastle.

Salary: £27,000 + Bonus

Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday - Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays

Role responsibilities

• To serve and issue stock to both internal & external customers ensuring the parts department standards are met.
• To receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock and to advise management if stock is low.
• Ensuring best practice housekeeping standards are kept for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department.
• Ensuring promotions and practices produced by Parts Management are promoted when speaking to customers.
• To participate in the annual formal stock check.

The ideal Parts Advisor will have the following skills and experiences

• Experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry
• Self-motivated
• IT Literate
• Good head for numbers / remembering codes
• Building trade business
• Dealing with online eBay sales
• EVHC processes
