Job summary

Kream Motor Recruitment is assisting a well-known motor-factors branch in Honiton to recruit a Parts Advisor with automotive parts experience. You will serve trade and retail customers at the front desk, handle trade calls, locate components, arrange deliveries and manage stock control.

Ideal candidates will have prior Parts Advisor experience in a franchised main dealer or motor-factors, and be familiar with parts processes and electronic catalogues.

Qualifications

• Previous Parts Advisor experience in franchised main dealer or motor-factors.
• Familiar with Parts processes and IT/electronic catalogues.
• Experience serving trade and retail customers at front desk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve trade and retail customers at the front desk.
• Take trade and retail Parts calls, locate components and arrange deliveries.
• Process 'special-orders' through third party suppliers.
• Stock control and replenishment.
• Process warranty and returned items.
• Promote special offers and marketing campaigns.

Job description

We are seeking an individual with automotive Parts experience to join a well-known privately owned motor-factors’ branch in Honiton.

Occupying the role of aPARTS ADVISORyour key activities will include:

• Serving trade and retail customers at the front desk.
• Taking trade and retail Parts calls, locating components and arranging deliveries.
• Processing ‘special-orders’ of non-stock items through third party suppliers.
• Stock control and replenishment.
• Processing warranty and returned items.
• Promoting special offers and marketing campaigns.

To be considered you will need to have occupied the Parts Advisor role previously, in either a franchised main dealer or motor-factors. You will be familiar with Parts processes and related IT / electronic catalogues.
