This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists as a Parts Controller in our busy Glasgow site.

About us:

Our Glasgow branch is a large, high-profile site providing maintenance, servicing, and warranty work for a fleet of approximately 2,500 vehicles, and it is one of the busiest workshops in the country. As the lead branch in Scotland, it also supports around 2,000 vehicles from our Broxburn, Stirling, and Aberdeen branches.

Discover our flagship branch at Northgate Vehicle Hire, situated next to the M8 motorway and one of the largest outdoor shopping centres. This state-of-the-art facility features 9 ramps for efficient service. We also house Auxillis, making it a fully integrated branch covering vehicle hire and accident management needs.

About the role:

You will support the Workshop Manager in running the internal parts department, maintaining accurate parts stock levels to ensure technicians are productive. You will liaise with external suppliers and manage these relationships.

About you:

• You come from a fast-paced, customer-focused background, preferably in automotive parts, dealership, accident repair, or workshop environments.
• You have experience with budgeting and cost control, as you will be responsible for the workshop budget.
• You are an organized administrator with excellent IT skills and data accuracy.
• You are proactive and eager to contribute to the team with a hands-on approach.
