This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists as a Parts Controller at our busy Glasgow site.

About us:

Our Glasgow branch is a large, high-profile site providing maintenance, servicing, and warranty work for a fleet of approximately 2,500 vehicles. It is one of the busiest workshops in the country and the lead branch in Scotland, supporting an additional 2,000 vehicles from branches in Broxburn, Stirling, and Aberdeen.

Discover our flagship branch at Northgate Vehicle Hire, conveniently located next to the M8 motorway and a major shopping centre. This state-of-the-art facility features 9 ramps for efficient operations. We also host Auxillis, making it a fully integrated branch covering vehicle hire and accident management services.

About the role:

You will support the Workshop Manager in managing the internal parts department, maintaining accurate stock levels to ensure technicians can work efficiently. You will liaise with external suppliers and manage those relationships.

About you:

• You come from a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, preferably within automotive parts, such as dealership, accident repair, or workshop.
• You have experience with budgeting and cost control, as you will be responsible for the workshop budget.
• You are a competent administrator with excellent organisational skills, accurate data input, and IT literacy.
• You are proactive, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to the Northgate team with a hands-on approach.
