This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists as a Parts Controller at our busy Glasgow site.

About us:

Our Glasgow branch is a large, high-profile site providing maintenance, servicing, and warranty work for a fleet of approximately 2,500 vehicles. It is one of the busiest workshops in the country and supports around 2,000 additional vehicles from nearby branches in Broxburn, Stirling, and Aberdeen.

Discover our flagship branch at Northgate Vehicle Hire, located next to the M8 motorway and a major shopping centre. This state-of-the-art facility features 9 ramps for efficient operations. We also operate Auxillis from this location, offering comprehensive vehicle hire and accident management services.

About the role:

You will support the Workshop Manager in managing the internal parts department, maintaining accurate stock levels to ensure technician productivity. You will liaise with external suppliers and manage these relationships effectively.

About you:

• You come from a fast-paced, customer-focused background, preferably within the automotive industry, such as dealership, accident repair, or workshop.
• You have experience with budgeting and cost control, as you will be responsible for the workshop budget.
• You are a competent administrator with excellent organizational skills, accurate data entry, and IT literacy.
• You are proactive, team-oriented, and eager to contribute positively to the Northgate team with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
