This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists as a Parts Controller at our busy Glasgow site.

About us:

Our Glasgow branch is a large, high-profile site providing maintenance, servicing, and warranty work for a fleet of approximately 2,500 vehicles, and is one of the busiest workshops in the country. As the lead branch in Scotland, it also supports around 2,000 additional vehicles from our Broxburn, Stirling, and Aberdeen branches.

Discover our flagship branch at Northgate Vehicle Hire, located next to the M8 motorway and one of the largest outdoor shopping centres. This state-of-the-art facility features 9 ramps to ensure efficient workflow. We are also proud to operate Auxillis at this location, offering comprehensive vehicle hire and accident management services under one roof.

About the role:

You will support the Workshop Manager in managing the internal parts department, maintaining accurate stock levels to ensure technicians' productivity. You will liaise with external suppliers and manage those relationships moving forward.

About you:

• You come from a fast-paced, customer-focused background, preferably within the automotive industry, such as dealership, accident repair, or workshop.
• You have experience with budgeting and cost control, as you will be responsible for the workshop budget.
• You are a competent administrator with excellent organizational skills, accurate data entry, and IT literacy.
• You are proactive and eager to contribute to the team with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
