Partner University Administration Officer – Maternity Cover
This is a full-time role for a fixed term of 11 months on Crick Terms and Conditions of Employment.
An internal secondment will be considered for anyone interested in understanding more about university partnerships or research administration.
The Francis Crick Institute is a partnership between the Medical Research Council (MRC), Cancer Research UK (CRUK), the Wellcome Trust, University College London (UCL), Imperial College London, and King’s College London. It is a registered charity whose purpose is to conduct biomedical research into all aspects of human health and disease. The institute is a leading centre of biomedical research and innovation.
The Partner University Administration Officer role sits in the Crick’s Research Management Support (RMS) team and reports to the Partner University Liaison Manager. The post holder will work to support the activities associated with the university partnership with University College London (UCL), Imperial College London, and King’s College London.
The RMS team sits within the office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and provides support to the Crick’s senior scientific leadership across a range of activities.
Purpose of the role
This is a key role providing administrative support for the RMS team with a main focus on supporting the partnership activities associated with the three founding universities.
The key partnership activities are: partner university Attachment Programme; joint appointments; the Networking Fund; University affiliations with Crick Group Leaders; understanding the role of university supervision of Crick PhD students; and membership of Interest Groups.
