Job description

We seek to appoint a highly personable and well-organised individual with strong administrative skills to join the Bursary as a part-time HR and Cover Assistant from May 2025. Term-time only applications will be considered.

The Godolphin and Latymer School is one of the country's leading independent day schools for girls, located on a six-acre site in Hammersmith, London. We are looking for a professional, highly organised individual with strong administrative skills to support the Bursar’s Office, primarily focusing on staff absence. The successful candidate will work in the HR Office and handle a variety of administrative tasks.

Applicants should demonstrate professionalism, high accuracy, and confidentiality. While specific qualifications are not required, experience with cover and HR processes is desirable. Experience in the educational or public sector is advantageous. Please refer to the recruitment information booklet for full details.

Working Hours and Benefits
  • Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 4.30pm
  • Friday: 7.30am – 4.00pm
  • During school holidays: 8.00am – 4.30pm

The role offers 28 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays and two weeks at Christmas when the school is closed. All leave must be taken during school holidays. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
