Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Partner Sales Engineer in the UK to combine identity-management know-how with a customer-success mindset. You will engage in partner meetings, demonstrations and proofs of concepts, showing business and technical benefits of our solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or 3+ years in customer-facing software roles
• Knowledge of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, WS-Fed and SCIM
• Experience with LDAP/AD, PKI, SSL/TLS, SQL and related infrastructure
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, Node.js, HTML/CSS/JSON and REST
• Strong presentation, workshop and proof-of-concept delivery skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing collaboration abilities
• Able to travel 15%–40% primarily in the UK and some international travel
• Fluent English and eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sales activities: demos, presentations, guidance, POCs, and RfX responses
• Be the go-to technical expert on Ping Identity solutions for customers and partners
• Build enduring customer relationships and act as trusted advisor
• Collaborate with sales to drive revenue through Qualification, Discovery and Proof Phases
• Coordinate pre-sales with post-sales service delivery teams
• Lead customer meetings via video or in-person, provide demonstrations and whiteboarding
• Provide feedback to product owners from customer needs
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise
• Develop subject-matter expertise in one Ping Identity solution
• Travel 15%–40%, mainly in the UK, with some international travel
