Job summary

Ping Identity in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will help deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform, spanning infrastructure, databases, and UI experiences, while shaping API and model design.

The role emphasizes AI tooling, cross-functional collaboration with product, UX, and engineering, and rapid prototyping from validated ideas to funded features in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Design, build, test, and operate production services with Java/JS, cloud, containers.
• Experience building distributed systems or shared platform capabilities.
• Experience designing APIs, RESTful services, and data models.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and identity management.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly across teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform spanning infra to UI.
• Design and implement APIs, models, workflows, orchestration surfaces, and services.
• Research and prototype solutions with senior leaders to turn ideas into features.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering to refine features for customers.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate research, code understanding, prototyping, and documentation.
• Share knowledge and support other engineers through reviews and discussions.
• Adapt to evolving customer needs and technology trends.
