Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is engaged to recruit a Salaried Partner for an independent accountancy practice in the Guildford area. You will oversee complex client accounts and provide strategic direction to help win new business.

Based at a rural setting with about 1 Partner and around 15 staff, the role offers hybrid working and a salary between £90,000 and £100,000, with a long-term route to Equity Partner as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise with 10–15 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience managing a team and advising clients.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to identify and seize business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Managing Director with the smooth running of the firm.
• Attend business development events and actively taking part in attracting new clients to the firm.
• Managing the accounts and tax affairs of key/complex clients.
• Manage the accounts department.

Our exclusive client is an independent accountancy practice in the Guildford area. They are a 1 Partner firm and circa 15 staff. Based from a pleasant, rural office setting, they are poised for their next phase of growth.

A successful Partner should have:
