Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited seeks a Senior Manager to work closely with Partners, leading a portfolio of accounting, tax and advisory work in Sevenoaks. The role offers a path to equity Partner and strong career development within a flexible hybrid setup.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and drive service expansion across accounting and tax for diverse clients in the professional services sector.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience working for an accountancy practice.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients delivering accounting, tax and business advisory services.
• Lead and review preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax matters.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, providing commercial advice and building long-term relationships.
• Oversee, mentor and develop junior team members and support their growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client portfolios and contribute to business development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, firm procedures and quality control standards while managing deadlines and workflow.

The Senior Manager will be the right hand person to the Partners of the firm. This role has the potential to progress through Partner Designate up to eventual equity Partner.
