Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is engaged to recruit a Salaried Partner for an independent accountancy practice in the Guildford area. You will oversee complex client accounts and provide strategic direction to help win new business.

Based at a rural setting with about 1 Partner and around 15 staff, the role offers hybrid working and a salary between £90,000 and £100,000, with a long-term route to Equity Partner as the firm grows.

Qualifications

Proven expertise with 10–15 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
Experience managing a team and advising clients.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to identify and seize business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Support the Managing Director with the smooth running of the firm.
Attend business development events and actively taking part in attracting new clients to the firm.
Managing the accounts and tax affairs of key/complex clients.
Manage the accounts department.
Work closely with the Managing Director and Tax Partner.
Strategically guide the firm during its next phase of growth.
Ad-hoc project work.
