TeacherActive is recruiting a part-time Teaching Assistant for a Monmouth primary school. The role involves supporting pupils in general class activities and on a one-to-one basis to boost engagement, confidence and progress throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will work part-time on a long-term basis, starting ASAP, with a focus on creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment and collaborating with teachers to support pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.
• One-to-one support experience is desirable but not essential.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide a mixture of general classroom and one-to-one support, helping pupils engage with their learning, develop their confidence and make progress throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting
• One-to-one support experience is desirable but not essential
• The ability to provide effective classroom support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient and supportive approach
• An adaptable and positive attitude
