Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Monmouth that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school is seeking a positive and supportive individual who can help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for its pupils.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide a mixture of general classroom and one-to-one support, helping pupils engage with their learning, develop their confidence and make progress throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting
• One-to-one support experience is desirable but not essential
• The ability to provide effective classroom support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient and supportive approach
• An adaptable and positive attitude
