Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across Pembrokeshire and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible full-time and day-to-day supply opportunities, supporting pupils in primary classrooms and delivering 1:1 support where needed.

You will work with teachers to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment and help with resources, activities, and classroom setup. If you are caring and reliable, we want to hear from you.

TeacherActive works with a number of welcoming schools across Pembrokeshire and the surrounding areas and is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across all primary key stages, supporting pupils in a range of classroom settings. Responsibilities may also include providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

THE ROLE:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum 6 months experience working with children
  • Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transferable roles (youth work, care, coaching, etc.)
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development
