Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Learning Disabilities) for Oakhurst Lodge. The role offers a 20-hour permanent contract with day shifts of 12, 10, or 8 hours across a 7-day rota, supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities to live more independently.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with Autism and/or learning disabilities or in a care setting.
• Understanding of behaviours that may challenge and a proactive support approach.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to live independently and participate in activities.
• Assist with daily routines and community outings as part of a 7-day rota.

About the Role

Looking for a stable, rewarding career with great variety? Join our team on a 20-hour permanent contract, working 12-hour, 10-hour, or 8-hour day shifts across a 7-day rota.

What to expect:

• Around two weekends per month

• Early shifts from 7:15 am

• Later shifts finishing by 10:00 pm

Oakhurst Lodge is an 8-placement specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

To thrive in this role, you'll have:
