Job summary

DEBRA International in Bognor Regis is seeking a Store Assistant for a part‑time role. You will support day‑to‑day shop operations, provide excellent customer service, handle stock, and help maintain a welcoming environment for customers and volunteers.

The role is 6 hours per week, one Sunday per week, paying £12.71 per hour (£3,965.52 per annum). Full training is provided and safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, reliable, and customer‑focused with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and donors
• Support the processing, pricing, and replenishment of donated stock
• Help maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with visual merchandising to promote sales and commercial success
• Support colleagues and volunteers in day-to-day store activities
• Follow DEBRA policies and procedures, including health, safety, and safeguarding
