Job summary

DEBRA UK Fareham is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering strong store performance across physical and digital channels, while helping to lead an inclusive team. This part-time, permanent role involves 21 hours per week across 3 days, with a salary of £14,458.08 per annum (£13.24 per hour).

The role requires enthusiasm, excellent customer service and retail administration skills.

Qualifications

• Motivated and enthusiastic with strong customer service and retail administration skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure to support smooth running of the Fareham store.
• Willingness to recruit and manage paid colleagues and volunteers and deputise for the Store Manager when required.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing management of paid colleagues and volunteers
• Assist in maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation
• Support the Store Manager in maximising profits to increase the store's overall contribution
• Use visual merchandising to ensure the store is commercially appealing
• Help generate quality donated goods to hit processing targets and maintain shop density
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required to ensure leadership continuity
