Job summary

DEBRA International in Fareham is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, drive store performance across physical and digital channels, and lead an inclusive team of staff and volunteers.

You will recruit and induct volunteers, maintain high standards of service and presentation, maximise profits, apply visual merchandising, and deputise for the Store Manager when needed. DBS check and references are required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and retail administration skills.
• Ability to support and deputise for Store Manager when required.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment and working with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing management of paid colleagues and volunteers.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
• Assist in maximising profits to increase store contribution.
• Use visual merchandising to keep the store commercially appealing.
• Help generate quality donated goods to meet processing targets and shop density.
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required.
