Job summary

14Forty, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an ambitious Chef on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) to prepare and serve high-quality food for our clients and customers in the UK.

You will oversee menu changes, identify opportunities to improve our food services, and support new menu concepts while upholding health, safety and brand standards across our venues, including around 6,000 sites.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent required.
• Food Hygiene certificate preferred.
• Flexible working hours as part-time 25h/week.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve our food services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Representing 14Forty and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
