Job summary

14Forty, part of Compass Group UK&I, is hiring a Chef on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) to prepare and serve high-quality food for our clients and customers across the venues we serve in the UK.

You will join a market-leading food service company that supports progression, rewards initiative, and values individuality. The role requires a flexible approach, a Food Hygiene certificate, and prior experience in a similar chef role with team supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Experience supervising a team.
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food Hygiene certificate.
• Flexible approach to working.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with creation of new menus and culinary concepts.
• Representing 14Forty and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
