Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a part-time Chef (30 hours per week) to create exceptional food experiences for 14Forty across our venues. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals, oversee menu changes and help drive improvements in our food services.

You will hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, have a Food Hygiene certificate, and experience supervising a team in a similar chef role. A flexible approach to working and a passion for great tasting food are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience supervising a kitchen team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Must hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Flexible approach to working.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback to improve services.
• Assist with creating new menus and concepts.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
