Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an ambitious part-time Chef to join 14Forty and help deliver exceptional food experiences across client sites in the UK. The role is contracted to 30 hours per week, with opportunities to progress within a market-leading food service company.

You will prepare high-quality dishes, oversee menu changes, monitor stock, ensure hygiene, and respond to customer feedback. A City & Guilds or NVQ is preferred, plus a Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and delivering quality meals.
• Ability to supervise a kitchen team and manage workloads.
• Strong customer service focus and adaptability to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services and respond to feedback.
• Create new menus and food concepts.
• Represent 14Forty and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories and maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
