Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's 14Forty is recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and help develop new concepts while upholding the brand and hygiene standards.

This role offers progression and the chance to work with a market-leading food service company in the UK.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Food Hygiene certificate
• Experience supervising a team
• Experience in a similar Chef role

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers
• Oversee and implement menu changes
• Identify opportunities to improve food services
• Listen to customer feedback to improve services
• Support creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Represent 14Forty and maintain a positive brand image
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
