Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC, via its Packe Arms and Vintage Inns venues, is hiring a Part Time Sous Chef. You will lead a section, train and motivate the team, and step up in the absence of the Head Chef to ensure great food and guest satisfaction.

You’ll manage orders, food prep and stock, work with a branded menu, and uphold health and hygiene standards while driving team performance and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
