Job summary

Mitchells & Butler s PLC's Rose & Crown is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train staff, and step up in the Head Chef's absence. You will work at the Rose & Crown, delivering great food and a warm guest experience.

The role emphasises teamwork, menu execution, stock control, and adherence to health and hygiene regulations, with opportunities for progression and participation in company perks.

Qualifications

• Experience running a kitchen section in a pub environment.
• Passion for delivering great food and guest experience.
• Ability to train and lead a team.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and ensure your team works together.
• Support the Head Chef with ordering, food prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with branded menus and quality standards.
• Mentor Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Maintain high standards of health and hygiene across the kitchen.
