Job summary

Mitchells & Butler Leisure Retail Limited is seeking a Part Time Sous Chef for the Packe Arms within Vintage Inns. You will lead a kitchen section, mentor colleagues and step up in the Head Chef’s absence, delivering great food with a smile to our guests.

You’ll train and inspire your team, manage food ordering and stock, and ensure every dish meets brand standards while maintaining high hygiene and safety practices in a welcoming pub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef in a branded pub or hotel kitchen.
• Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Proven track record of maintaining high kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead your kitchen section and ensure the team work as one.
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Work with a branded menu and maintain consistent quality.
• Support the team to deliver dishes to brand standards.
