Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd are recruiting an experienced Soft Services Manager for a large static site in Dundee. The role is part-time, 30 hours per week, at £15.31 per hour. You will oversee on-site cleaning operations and support events while building strong client relationships.

This hands-on, client-facing role requires managing the cleaning team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, with IT reporting and strong organisation a must.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cleaning teams within a commercial environment.
• Client-facing management experience.
• Excellent communicator for client meetings.
• Experience carrying out audits and monitoring service standards.
• Highly organised with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• IT literate and able to generate reports.
• Flexible in working hours; able to work independently.
• Experience supporting or running events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site cleaning team.
• Ensure high cleaning and presentation standards across the site.
• Carry out regular site audits and quality inspections.
• Attend client meetings as the key on-site contact.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with the client.
• Plan and run events at the venue.
• Coordinate cleaning and soft services around events.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas and day-to-day operational requirements.
• Monitor performance and address any service issues.
• Produce reports and maintain accurate records.
• Use IT systems to manage information, reporting and service delivery.
• Ensure health & safety and company procedures are followed.
