Job summary

Bidvest Noonan in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of Soft Services onsite across Cleaning, Landscaping, Pest, and Additional Works. You will supervise daily performance, drive improvements and ensure contractual SLAs are met with a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will manage front-line teams, build robust relationships with the client and stakeholders, control budgets, and coach others to maintain high standards while adapting to change and evolving

Responsibilities

• To manage, direct, oversee, report, review and continually improve the following operational elements, processes and procedures, ensuring professionalism and excellent standards at all times.
• Daily, weekly, monthly and periodic tasks undertaken by the frontline teams (cleaning and carparks).
• Audits and regular inspections of all areas and services of the site including measurement and rectification of any issues and actions; stock management including use, storage, ordering etc.
• Audits and regular inspections of all in-scope machinery and equipment including rectification of any faults.
• Incident and accidents including risk management, escalation, reporting and lessons learnt.
• Recruitment, selection and appointment of team members, team, client and customer welfare.
• Team rotas and related procedures for timekeeping, absences, holiday, sickness and payroll.
• To celebrate success where it is achieved and to manage underperformance or poor conduct if it arises minimising disruption to services or budgets.
• Innovation and initiatives including those raised by the team and subsequent sharing of ideas and best practice leading to improved practices.
• This will be a hands-on role with some support for the core cleaning team.
