Brightwork is advertising a Temporary Part Time Cleaning Supervisor position in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh. The role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 15:00–20:00, with potential for flexibility.

You will lead daily cleaning operations, supervise a team, and ensure COSHH compliance while maintaining high standards for the client site. The ideal candidate has cleaning or housekeeping experience with supervisory responsibilities, strong organisation and communication skills, and

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping, ideally with supervisory responsibility.
• Hands-on, organised approach with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations.
• High standards of professionalism, presentation, and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cleaning operations, including floor care and reactive cleaning tasks.
• Supervise, support, and organise the team, including rotas and training.
• Carry out audits, monthly performance checks, and safety walks.
• Manage cleaning materials and chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
• Ensure cleaning standards meet client expectations
• Monitor performance, manage resources, and report incidents
• Provide cover and support additional hours when required

Job description

This role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our Prestigious client based in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh and we require a Temporary Part Time Cleaning Supervisor for our clients site. (please note this is an \"on going\" role with no end date).

Your Time at Work

Hours of work are 25 hours, Monday to Friday 1500-2000 daily however flexibility may be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily cleaning operations, including floor care and reactive cleaning tasks
• Supervise, support, and organise your team, including rotas and training
• Carry out audits, monthly performance checks, and safety walks
• Manage cleaning materials and chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
• Ensure all cleaning standards meet Sodexo and client expectations
• Monitor performance, manage resources, and report any incidents
• Provide cover and support additional hours where required
