Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd are recruiting an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across the East of Scotland, based in Dundee with a mobile, client-facing remit.

You will lead and develop cleaning teams across multiple sites, conduct audits, ensure quality and contractual standards, and report on performance using data. This permanent role offers a salary up to £35,000 and a company car, covering Edinburgh, Dundee and Fife.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cleaning teams across multiple locations.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Experience conducting site audits and quality inspections.
• Experience onboarding and managing employees.
• Good IT skills and comfortable using data and reports.
• Excellent organisation to manage a busy mobile workload.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to service delivery.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage cleaning services across multiple client sites in the East of Scotland.
• Lead, support and develop cleaning teams.
• Onboard and induct new employees.
• Conduct site visits, audits and quality inspections.
• Monitor service delivery to meet contractual standards.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Manage staffing levels, absence and performance.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Produce reports and use data to drive improvements.
• Ensure teams comply with procedures and health & safety.
• Support recruitment and mobilisation of new staff.
