Job summary

HRC Recruitment are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an Assistant General Services Manager for their busy site in Renfrew, United Kingdom. This role sits within Soft FM and offers exposure to a wide range of facilities operations.

You will support the day-to-day delivery of services, manage teams in cleaning and security, liaise with clients, and contribute to budgeting, reporting and compliance. A hands-on leader with strong organisational skills is ideal.

Qualifications

• Facilities management experience is essential.
• Strong people management skills are required.
• Experience with Health & Safety and compliance is important.
• SAP experience is advantageous.
• Experience with budgeting and coordinating suppliers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities services across the site.
• Manage cleaning and security teams.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage work orders and service schedules.
• Support Health & Safety and compliance.
• Liaise with the client and address issues.
• Support budgets, purchasing and monthly reporting.
• Assist payroll and people administration.
• Support recruitment, training and development.
• Deputise for the General Services Manager when required.
