Job summary

Cornwall Council is seeking an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our Communication Support Team. You will deliver speech, language and communication programmes for deaf children and young people aged 0-25 across Cornwall, working with the Highly Specialist SLT and Sensory Support Team.

Based in schools, early years settings and family homes, you will plan, deliver therapy sessions, create resources and support families to implement communication strategies, while

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Ability to travel regularly across Cornwall.
• Strong organisational and recording skills.
• Excellent communication with families and professionals.
