Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust's Children's Speech and Language Therapy service is seeking a committed Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join the Clay Cross team.

The post provides support to children with speech, language and communication needs, delivering interventions in early years settings, schools, patient homes and through telehealth, under supervision by SLTs and a Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children with speech, language and communication needs is essential.
• Must be able to travel to appointments around North Derbyshire from Clay Cross base.
• Ability to deliver intervention programmes in early years settings, schools, patient homes and via telehealth.
• Supervision by SLTs with support from a Team Leader and opportunities for peer support.
