South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting a part-time Cleaning Supervisor for Cathkin High School, Cambuslang (G72 8ES). The role covers 7.5 hours of cleaning and 7.5 hours of supervising a team of Facility Assistants, with a pattern from Monday/Tuesday 4pm-7pm and Wednesday-Friday 3:30pm-6:30pm.

The hourly rates are £13.80 for cleaners and £14.12–£14.27 for supervisors. The post involves ensuring cleaning standards, COSHH compliance, and on-site health and safety reporting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings and sanitary areas according to specification.
• Monitor cleaning standards and COSHH compliance, reporting issues to management.
• Set up rooms for lets and act as on-site lead for health and safety reporting.
