South Lanarkshire Council Careers is seeking a part-time Supervisor (Cleaning) based at St Andrews and St Brides High School, East Kilbride. The role combines cleaning duties with supervising a team of Facility Assistants and ensuring COSHH compliance and health and safety on site.

Hours are 15 hours per week during term time (split 7.5 hours for cleaning and 7.5 hours for supervision) with set shifts Mon, Wed, Fri 3.30pm–6.30pm and Tue/Thu 4pm–7pm; salary across scales is £5,521–£5,580 per

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a cleaning team.
• Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work term-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Facility Assistants and oversee cleaning duties.
• Set up rooms for lets and report health and safety issues.
• Monitor cleaning standards and ensure building security as key-holder.
